Create a free account, add a project, and copy the ready-made snippet in the admin under Embed (project ID + secret already filled in).
Add it to your theme
Online Store → Themes → Edit code on the active theme, open layout/theme.liquid and paste the snippet right before </body>.

Save — the chat appears in your shop right away. Fine-tune visibility and design in the Mignuti studio.
Remember to add your shop domain under Embed → Allowed domains in the Mignuti admin.

Is there a Shopify app to install?
The reliable, works-today path is the one-line snippet in theme.liquid — it works on any plan and any theme. A native Shopify app is in the works.
Is the chatbot GDPR-compliant?
Yes, with one caveat we state openly: platform data (database, files) sits on our own server in Germany. For the AI answer, chat messages – after automatic redaction of personal data – go to Anthropic in the USA (EU standard contractual clauses 2021/914); embeddings run via OpenAI (USA). If you do not want that, switch on EU-only mode per bot (Azure OpenAI EU). In GDPR mode the widget shows its own consent gate before the first chat (EU AI Act Art. 50), DPA included.
Do I need to code?
No. You paste one line into theme.liquid — your team can do it in two minutes. No code, no app review.
Does the bot appear at checkout?
No, deliberately. Chatbots distract from conversion, and Shopify only allows checkout scripts via the app SDK (Plus). If you still need it, reach out.
